Hi everyone! The class caterpillars have arrived! I will post a photograph or video on here every week to show their development! It would be great if you could read 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' to your child as well as talk to your child about the lifecycle of a butterfly.

Week 5
Hi everyone! I’m keeping the planning in a very similar format every week – my thinking is that if I had to do this at home I’d want to be in a nice little routine, instead of having to get used new things all the time. As always, if your child is finding things too easy/too hard please feel free to adapt the activities or email me anytime at: receptionclass@hempsted.gloucs.sch.uk and I’ll try and help you.
Please look at the 'Team Hempsted' tab for this week's activity challenges

I hope you had a lovely break over Easter. It seems like such a long time ago that we were all together and I am definitely missing everyone! Well done to the amazing efforts you have been going to so far to carry on your child’s schooling at home. Remember you always have been, and always will be, your child’s first and most important teacher – you can do this!
