As a Church of England School, fundraising to help those who are in need is an important part of our mission. The children, through the School Council, choose two charities every year. The whole school community then take part in a wide range of events that promote awareness of the charities and help to raise much-needed funds.
This year we are raising money for The Donkey Sanctuary and for The James Hopkins Trust.
The photographs below show our 'Dress To Show What you Would Like To Be When You Grow Up Day'. It was great fun, and we got to meet Laura from Sparks, who told us more about the work of this important charity.
We also take part in national appeals, such as Children in Need day (we dressed in onesies and wellies) and the Samaritans Purse Shoebox Appeal.
