Safer Internet Day 2018

On February 2nd we celebrated Safer Internet Day 2018, which aims to educate pupils into respecting themselves and each other when they are online. The key message -

'Create, connect and share respect – a better internet starts with you'

highlights how easy it is to upset people online and how we all need to be very careful about the things we post on social media.

During the day, children took part in special assemblies, listened to stories, watched films, role-played and discussed how the internet affects our day-to-day life and friendships online, thinking about ways to use the internet safely and positively.
